Visualizing Display Primaries (Full Drive RGBW)

This page displays a reference test pattern for evaluating the “full drive” capability of modern wide-gamut displays. We are attempting to bypass the sRGB standard and push the display to its maximum primary luminance.

Test Pattern 1: Embedded Display P3 PNG (Moderate Probability)

This is a raw, 16-bit image generated in the Display P3 color space. It renders four sharp RGBW quadrants plus a 7-step grayscale ramp at the bottom. The ramp steps are evenly spaced in linear light, then transfer-encoded for Display P3 storage, so each step should represent equal luminance increments.

We use CSS to ensure it is not anti-aliased or smoothed.
